Brunswick Stew

This is for a wonderful Brunswick Stew recipe:

2 chicken breast or thighs – boiled until done then shredded

1 lb pork sausage

1 lb ground beef

2 onions – diced

1 can of whole kernel corn
1 can of creamed corn
2 cans whole tomatoes
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can cooked carrots
1 can potatoes
1 can of lima beans

1/2 cup of ketchup, BBQ sauce, prepared mustard

1/4 cup sugar, worchestshire sauce and lemon juice

Salt, pepper and parsley to taste

Cook diced onions in olive oil until soft.
Add pork sausage and ground beef to onions. Continue cooking mixture.
Add shredded chicken. Mix in ketchup, worchestshire sauce, lemon juice and mustard. Add in all tomatoes. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Add simmered ingredients to stock pot then add the rest of your ingredients. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a very slow simmer. Cook for another 2 hours.

Voila! Cooked to perfection!!

I serve mine with cornbread. Perfect for a cold winter day.
