This recipe was quick and easy. Took a total of 30 minutes for this to come together so we could devour it. This was on our dinner menu tonight. And I have to say, it was drool worthy!!! I had seconds and so did the hubby. It was that good!
Now, how to make it…
1/4 cup Olive Oil
2 or 3 sliced up chicken breasts. If you use thighs, slice up 4 or 5.
BBQ sauce – the taste is up to you
Pillsbury pizza dough
Cheeses (I used an entire bag of one and half of the other) it’s up to your taste.
Lettuce
Tomato
Parsley
How to:
Put 1/4 cup olive oil in a skillet. Dump your chicken in. Then, proceed to add BBQ sauce. About 1/4 of a cup. Cook thoroughly.
Next, open the can of pizza dough and follow cooking directions. (425 degrees for 9 minutes)
After it us done smear some of your favorite BBQ sauce onto the cooked dough.
Then add cheese
Next is lettuce and tomato to your liking
Proceed to add your cooked chicken on top.
Last but not least, add more cheese on top. And some sprinkles of parsley.
Cook at 425 degrees for 5 minutes. Make sure cheese is thoroughly melted.
Then cut pizza and enjoy. This takes around 30 minutes but we had second helpings. I would have had a 3rd if I had room for it.
