Crockpot Chicken Salsa Loaded Nachos

These were unbelievably good! The kids just loved them and so did I. The hubby devoured them. Since the crockpot did most of the work, I had other things to do. Like clean the house for example. That’s hard to do with kids in the house. I’m to the point to where I’m going to wait until they move out to clean.  Haha I’m joking…sort of…

Now onto the recipe…

You will need the following ingredients:

1 jar of salsa (your choice depending on your taste – I used mild since I’m not a spicy taste kind of person.

2 chicken breasts

Shredded Mexican flavored cheese

Shredded mozzarella cheese

Lettuce

Tomato

Nachos

And a crock pot

1. Add your chicken breasts and 1 jar of salsa to the crockpot. Turn on high for 4 hours.

2. After it has cooked, shred the chicken in the salsa and place some mozzarella cheese on top. Let it sit and melt in the warm crock pot.

3. After the cheese has melted. Add your nachos to a plate. Put the lettuce and chopped tomato on top.  Add the crockpot chicken salsa mixture. Place the Mexican cheese on top.

* I added some sour cream on top just because I like it.

Voila! That’s it! This is a delicious snack to have just because or during a football game on the TV.

Hope you enjoy!
