Okay, I will admit it….
I had seconds of this awesomeness! I haven’t made this in over 4 years so it was time. Pure comfort food! The taste is just so warm and inviting….just try it…you will enjoy it!
You will need:
A crockpot
Beef stew meat
Egg noodles (large package – use 3/4 of it)
1 can of mushroom soup
8 oz cream cheese
1 large diced onion
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp diced garlic
1. Dice your onion and place in a frying pan along with the beef stew meat. Cook until the meat is brown and the onions are translucent.
2. Next, add the milk, cream cheese, sour cream, diced gsrlic, mushroom soup and Worcestershire sauce. Make sure it is all mixed and melted together thoroughly.
3. Place this wonderful mixture into the crockpot on high for 4 hours.
4. After the 4 hours is up, cook 3/4 of the bag of noodles according to package directions.
5. Drain the noodles and mix into the crockpot with the meat mixture. Allow to cook for another 15 minutes on low or warm.
Yes, that is the magical comfort food ticket. (I’d have a 3rd plate if my kids weren’t watching lol) They enjoyed it as well. Not only did they eat their dinner, they ate mine and Richie’s as well.
Go ahead and give it a try! Come back soon…
Melissa
