Patio gardening continued

As I am writing this blog, I am sitting here in pajamas watching cartoons while sitting with my 2 little kids and dogs. I did check on my patio garden this morning. Everything still looks beautiful! Here are some more pictures!

Cantaloupe and Bush Baby Watermelon

I have been watering my plants every other day or every 2 days. Like I mentioned in my previous, I live in desert southwest Arizona and water is scarce until monsoon season around here.

I have been putting a little bit of Miracle Grow in the water. But I am going to try Epsom Salt. I need to transplant my cucumber seeds that have sprouted. So I’m going to put some in the soil before I plant them in their growing pots.  Now, I did water my plants last night with Epsom salt in the water.  They are still green and beautiful and have not killed over yet!

If you have any gardening ideas to add, please feel free to comment. The more the merrier.

Gardening is a learning process for me. Everyone else in my family has a green thumb. I did not get that genetic trait.  This is the first year I have actually had vegetables and fruits to grow! There are also some lavender and cacti plants involved in my growing experience!

Go ahead and check out my stores as well. Here are some links!
