Today is a day off of work due to Easter holiday being observed by my workplace on the following Monday. Hip hip hooray!

The kids and I are relaxing at the house in pajamas and the hubby will be home from work soon. It’s the perfect day to sit around,  enjoy some coffee,  finish up on household mommy duties that need to be done (like putting away the clean basket of laundry) and spending lots of time with the kids!

Yes,  the house could use some cleaning but you know what….my children won’t be little forever.   I do love to watch them play, get excited about a toy, and it makes me super happy when they enjoy helping me clean or cook or whatever I’m doing at the time.  

Maybe we will watch Chicken Little 10 times today, who knows what the day holds for us. 

It’s super windy outside today so maybe we will make sure all of the garden plants in containers are secured. Maybe we will try out a new recipe and blog about it later.
