Welcome to Monday!  It wasn’t too bad but I would not complain about a day between Saturday and Sunday either.

It was a beautiful sunny day. Woke up bright and early, got the kids ready for the day and even left the house in time to drop the kids off and made it to work on time. Yes, I was quite impressed.

Work went well! No major issues of any sort and I got some computer and paperwork done that I’ve been needing to do. All in all my work day went fabulous! 

As I’m leaving work and going to pick up kids, I’m jamming to the radio and just driving thru the desert enjoying my “me time”.

Then, I arrive to pick up the kids. They cry all the way home! We get into the house and it’s the same messy,  unruly disaster that it’s been for the past few days. But the kids fell asleep on the couch. I get to eat a little snack and watch the kids dream. Yes, I smile! 

My simple truth for Mondays…

They aren’t all terrible. Have some “me time” and enjoy tiny moments that bring happiness and joy to your heart.
