Southern Banana Pudding

First, a little history lesson….I grew up in the great state of Alabama.  Therefore I just love Banana Pudding! And tomato sandwiches as many of you already know.

I had some really ripe bananas that needed to be devoured or put into a pudding. I decided on the pudding. It’s easy and doesn’t take much time, plus it’s a southern indulgence that makes you smile 🙂

Ingredients:
6 ripe bananas
1 box of vanilla wafers
1 box of vanilla pudding mix
1 box of cream cheese
1 can of condensed milk
1 tub of whipped cream
1 cup of milk
1 tsp of cinnamon

How to make it:

1. Line a 9×13 baking dish with half of the box of vanilla wafers and all of your bananas.

2. Mix together the vanilla pudding mix and 1 cup of milk in a bowl.

3. Next, in another bowl,  mix together the condensed milk and cream cheese. Make sure the lumps are smoothed out.

4.  Add the tub of whipped cream to the condensed milk/cream cheese mixture and stir well.

5. Then, add the pudding mixture into your cream cheese mixture.  Dont forget to add your cinnamon.  Stir well.

6.  Pour this mixture on top of your wafers and bananas.  Place the rest of the vanilla wafers on top and place in the fridge until you are ready to devour it with happiness.

  1. It all looks so good. But being from Alabama, all my family has always cooked the pudding. I love it when it’s hot.
